The Marine Conservation Ecology group at the Duke Marine Laboratory focuses on the conservation and ecology of marine vertebrates.

Our group includes faculty members, postdoctoral research associates, research technicians, and undergraduate, professional masters, and PhD students.

We are located at the Duke University Marine Lab, a vibrant research and educational community in Beaufort, North Carolina.

We address conservation problems through research on life history, bioacoustics, oceanography, population biology, spatial ecology and foraging behavior, all framed within a broad ecological context.
